Amore Ristorante: Authentic Italian Cuisine in Woodland Park

We had a 5 year rememberance dinner for my dad this past weekend. JR was very accommodating for all of our 15 family members including 3 children under 6 and our primary server Miguel was very attentive to our needs and asked if any one had any allergies or special requests. We ordered off the menu. Calamari balsamico was an excellent appetizer choice as well as the grilled octopus and the meat & cheese charcuterie board was beautifully prepared. We ordered various chicken, pasta, veal entrees and specials like Bronzino & Osso Buco did not disappoint. Everyone’s meal was brought out together by various servers which was very nice. We brought in a cake for dessert and ordered the speciality ice cream off the menu. It was the perfect pairing with our hot coffees, cappuccinos and espressos. Plenty of food.! BYOB .We were not rushed through our meals and enjoyed the time in between servings to pause and talk with each other and enjoy the company of our family. This is Old school service which was very much appreciated. Call JR to make your reservations. Whatever your needs, he will make it happen! We highly recommend Amores in Woodland Park!

Went to this location for a wedding and it was the perfect place for a low-key reception. They have two dining rooms. The food was absolutely delicious with generous portions of everything they brought out. The appetizers alone were enough to fill you up before the main entrées came out. My favorites included the shrimp cocktail; fried calamari, fresh prosciutto and mozzarella cheese, and the steak entrée was perfectly cooked. They also served meatballs and some type of eggplant appetizer that were also good. Great service. Lots of parking in the parking lot. I will come back for dinner in the future and it’s good to note that it’s BYOB during their usual business hours.

Amore has been my favorite restaurant since the first time I visited. It’s my first choice when it comes to a date or a nice place for dinner. The food is top-notch, and the staff is amazing. From day one, they’ve treated us like family. Today, Marcos served us for the first time, and he is a very kind person. He treated us with the same care we’ve received from the staff who already know us. I have no complaints whatsoever. The best!

We stumbled onto this restaurant. Pure chance and it was delicious. It is BYOB, don't forget the wine. Staff was very accommodating and courteous.

I had an AMAZING birthday celebration. Thank you Miguel and the team for the great time . I will definitely recommend this restaurant for my loved ones and will be back myself . With more Italian restaurants per square mile in Jersey than any other type of cuisine, we decided on Amore Ristorante, located off of Rifle Camp Road in Woodland Park, for Saturday night dinner. The reservation was easily made via Yelp. We have discovered this establishment by chance every time en route to one of the entrances on Garrett Mountain. Unfortunately, the exterior doesn't draw one in. However, upon arrival as first-timers, my partner, our friends, and I were greeted by the host and got a table in the corner at this cozy, warm, and welcoming interior with simple decor of pictures of Italy and music playing throughout the two dining areas. The menu offered Southern Italian cuisine and was limited, but we found meals we liked. Miguel was our server and made us feel so welcome; he read out the specials. As an appetizer, we decided on the Polpette Amore (meatballs) and Charcuterie Board. For our main meal, we opted for Papardelle Bolognese, Linguine Alle Vongole, and Lasagna. Complimentary bread started our meal. The pasta was homemade, but the meat sauce was bland. The Linguine Alle Vongole was tasty and well seasoned. The portions were healthy, and the price was comparable to the area. The staff was super attentive and always taking good care of us.

I had the pleasure of having my wedding reception here. The staff was on point and extremely helpful. I could not have asked for a better evening. My guests called all week long to let me know how much they enjoyed the food and how great every thing was. If you are looking for a place to have a small wedding, holiday party or just a great dinner then this is the place for sure! The food and service is excellent! Thank you again for a great time!
